About

Hi. I’m Christina. Welcome to my little ol’ blog! I’m glad you found me. I’m a cook, a wife, a mama, and an eating enthusiast.  I mean it.  I love to cook, but I really love to eat. Around here, you’ll find lots of different types of food: some old family recipes, a few new experiments, and lots of homemade versions of old favorites. I believe in real food, made with fresh ingredients, prepared with love, and shared with the people you care about.  I’m not a professional photographer, or chef, or writer.  I’m just a hungry girl who would love to share some of my kitchen adventures and show people how easy and fun it can be to make nutritious, tasty, and exciting food.  If I can do it, so can you! Hope you’ll check back in and join me in the kitchen!

Christina, the pictures are beautiful–I never buy a cookbook without them.
You might just get me to start cooking again. The hardest part is figuring out what to make and I can’t resisit your recipes.

Christina, this is wonderful!! Molly told me about it last night, and I had to sign up to receive the emails. You are such a wonderful cook, and I am so HAPPY you are doing this. I love trying new recipes, and this will be such a treat! I remember you bringing goodies over when you were in high school…we knew that if you made it, it would be REALLY great!

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your recipes sound great and your pictures make the food sound even better!

Hi Christina! Your mom referred me to your blog and I wanted to take a moment to tell you I have LOVED everything I have made! The Bombay cheese dip is amazing! And the garlicy hummus is my new ‘go to’ recipe for a take-along dip to a party. Both Scott and I enjoy it at home for lunch or as part of an appetizer dinner. I also really like your photography! Well done, Christina! I can’t wait to try a lot more recipes!

  9. Hi Christina, you’re doing a GREAT JOB here 🙂 I’ll definitely come back so I’ll have more choices to put on our table. Many blessings to you and your family – Steve and Confe
